I created these bumpers stickers using Microsoft Publisher, and then converted them to individual PDF files using PDF995. If you click on any of the small images shown here it will bring up the higher resolution PDF file, from which you can print out the bumper sticker (2 per page) on your own printer. (You'll need Adobe Reader to view/print any PDF files.)
Take your printed sheet and cut it apart into two banner strips. If printed on an ink-jet printer, you will need to protect your banner from moisture. Some folks use a fixative spray available at an artist supply store. You can print directly on adhesive label stock.
I print on regular paper, cut my banner to 3½" x 11" and use an inexpensive clear plastic "Bumper Banner" holder (sealed at the ends, mounts to flattish surfaces with one adhesive lock-mate piece, easily unclips so you can refill the holder with your message of the day).
This holder could indeed be affixed to your bumper, but it also works well just propped up or mounted inside your rear window, out of reach of those who might disagree with your message and wish to remove it from your vehicle. The BumperBanner website has lots of other banners you can print out and display, no matter what your political persuasion or axe to grind. A Google websearch for bumper stickers will bring up other image files you can download and use.
