Farm Co., Inc. is located a mile northwest of
"downtown" Marblemount in eastern
Skagit County of Washington State. The 120-acre
farm is situated along the edge of the valley
floor backed up against the foothills that front
the spectacular North Cascades mountain range.
The farm is now in a planning and growth-staging
mode. We are presently working to develop our
infrastructure and resource base. Utilizing the
combined energies of skilled employees,
sub-contractors and professional specialists, we
are progressing toward the goal of creating a
productive rural business operation. In
developing the infrastructure of the farm, we
have accumulated a large array of heavy
construction machinery and equipment, and the
skills to maintain and effectively use them.
Because most of these resources can be mobilized
or easily transported, we can now offer our
expertise, services and certain materials to our
neighbors in eastern Skagit County, in the
communities of Marblemount, Rockport and
surrounding environs.

The
firm was formed early in 2003 by Mike Underwood and Paul
Schwulst as principals, each bringing 25 to 30 years of
experience with them. Our firm provides a full range of
architectural services, from schematic design, construction
document preparation, to construction observation. We have
years of hands-on construction experience to base our practical
approach to our designs. We use Autocad and Sketchup as our
primary CADD platforms, allowing efficient file and information
transfer to and from our consultants and clients. We also
provide a complete range of graphic illustrations to support our
designs, including 3-D computer modeling, 3-D chip board
modeling, and 2-D renderings.

Nursery (email) - Variety Bamboos
& Organic Raspberries We are located near
the town of Rockport, in the wet but enchanting foothills of the
upper Skagit Valley. We have been farming here since 1979, and
growing bamboo since 1981. We were among the first members of
the Northwest Chapter of the American Bamboo Society and
Washington Tilth Producers, the organic growers organization.
Our food crops include organic raspberries, blueberries, garlic,
carrots, potatoes and winter squash. We offer bulk purchases for
canning, freezing and winter storage. We are devoting more time
to building the selection of nursery plants and specialize in
hardy bamboo. We also offer an eclectic selection of native
plants and permaculture or multipurpose landscape plants. These
are largely grown with organic methods, although we do use slow
release commercial fertilizer for our potted plants. We sell our
nursery stock to both retail and wholesale customers. Visits to
our nursery are welcome but must be by appointment.

Family owned and operated, we began our business in
1994 in a converted gas station in downtown
Concrete, which inspired pizza names such as
"Diesel", "Regular",
"Supreme", and "Unleaded".
(Our present location was also a former gas
station). The theme goes much deeper into the old
service philosophy of early-day gas stations,
when attendants took care to wash windows, hand
out travel maps, and provide clean restrooms. We
take pride in using quality ingredients, freshly
prepared to order. Our pizzas are baked in
vintage 1930s stone-lined ovens, resulting in
pizzas with a unique taste and texture. However,
this combination of custom-made pizzas and
limited oven capacity sometimes results in longer
waits than "fast food" pizzas. Be
patient and we're sure you'll love the results.
